Looking for any info on a Michael Hughes and an Isabella Gordon who came to Scotland c1857/58.
She is said to have come from Donegal and her father was a butcher Andrew Gordon.
Michael's father is named on his death cert. as Philip Hughes Crofter but do not know where.
