I am trying to locate the family of Michael Monahan who immigrated to NY in 1849. His father was Eoin (John) and he had two brothers. Patrick and Hugh who stayed in Ireland. Other members of the family immigrated to NY in the late 1900's Michael was born around 1820 in Lisdaligna just outside Killimor, near Ballinasloe in Co. Galway. Most of our family who immigrated stayed in the NY and NJ areas. Any info would be appreciated.
