My family were Creaven who emigrated from Ballintleva, Co. Galway.

this is mike walsh here, we spoke via email a couple of years ago, I was back in ireland early this year for a few days. Sad to say my uncle john steed ( my mothers brother) was very ill and i saw him the day before he died. i met with several of the Creaven family around the time of the funeral. i can contact some of them if you would like me to for you. i know you were over some time ago, have you managed to meet up with any more of them? best wishes Mike

Just saw these posts. My grandmother was Margaret Creaven, daughter of Patrick Creaven and Mary Ward. Is there any connection with your families??
