Hi John, unsure if there is any connection but I have been given information on my family tree, and a Hannah Noble born 1780, married Adam Dumas, if you may have any information on this be much appreciated.

(DOB c 1828 Tyrone, Ireland) daughter of: John & Margaret (m/s Robertson)

Married in Renfrewshire, Scotland....had and raised family in Scotland.

Any info ...even if only direction re irish records...would be helpful.

Hi Dave,

John and Rose Noble of Co. Fermanagh were my gggrandparents. John Noble was a mason who died before 1859. They may (or may not!) be the same John and Rose that you refer to.

I know of two sons, John (b. 1824) and Henry (b. 1830 - my ggrandfather), who emigrated to Paisley, Renfrewshire during the potato famine (along with many others). They probably had a sister Elizabeth (b. 1819).

This info was gleaned from www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk and www.ancestry.co.uk.

Maybe a total co-incidence, but I'd be interested in anything you've discovered about John & Rose.

Hi, am looking for any info on William & Mary Ann (nee McGrath) Noble. Some of the family went to Australia - Elizabeth, William, Daniel and James. Think they lived in Ballycassidy area.
