I was born on 29/11/1967 in a house on Synnot Place. There is a record of my Baptism but no record of my actual birth. My parents assure me that my birth was recorded.I recently had to renew my passport & you'd think I was an illegal immagrent with the rigmarole I had to go through.
I spoke to someone who deals with records & she told me I had to get my parents marriage certificate & birth certs of my brothers & sisters. Then I'd have to register my own birth using these documents!
Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them?
