Poole research
Frederick Poole of Blacquire Bridge in Phibsboro was a tailor and son of Frederick and Mary. He married Sophie Fanning and when she died Mary Jane Madden and had a large family. I have done extensive research on these Pooles and will pass on anything I can.09/09/2008 12:04 am

Frederick Poole
Hi Vincent,
Ive got a huge amount on Fred Poole and his family. He was born in Dublin in 1820, the son of a house painter. It looks like he had at least 2 brothers, Charles and Edward who both became painters and a sister Charlotte. Their parents were Frederick a painter and Mary Drake. Unfortunately Ive hit a dead end going back further. Fred Jnr. had a family first with Sophie Fanning and when she died he married Mary Jane Madden and had another tribe of kids. None of the first family seems to have staye in Dublin and many of them seem to never have lived to adulthood. One of them Joseph was executed in Dublin in 1883. He was a Fenian. Fred's second family were John Christopher (my great grand father) Vincent, Paddy, and Agnes. Another boy David died young. Which one of these is your ancestor. My email is *** I'll send you more detailed info.
