I am looking for details on a Richard Mason born 1910 and was reared by the Dillon family in Rathfarnham Dublin south, I think st. patricks cottages, It is said that his new family "The Dillons" kept his orignal name "Mason" If the birth cert that I have is correct then it looks like his birth mothers name was Mason, the fathers name is not on the cert and I am led to believe he was in the British army and they were not a couple as such.
( I not very sure but my possible theory is ) Richard was giving his mothers name Mason and was reared by the dillon family who i think might have been related to the birth mother! ??
