GRIFFITH FAMILY - DUBLIN (Rathgar Connection? )
Hello,
I am from Sussex, UK. I don't have any family to ask about my ancestors. I do though remember being told by my father that we originated from Dublin. My Grandfather was a GP/Surgeon who went to Glasgow, Scotland to train and later settled in Wales and the Surrey.
My Grandfather was Albert Edward Griffith and for some reason "Rathgar" was used in the family as house names...not sure if it means anything.
Has anyone come across what may be my ancestors? My Father was Patrick Joseph Aloysius GRIFFITH born 1908 (in Monmouthshire).
Thank you
Ghislaine
