My 2nd Great Grandfather was James Anderson Burks he was listed as born in 1835 Dublin, Ireland he married Mary M Hyde. I think his fathers name was John. My father spelled his name as Burks his brother spelled it Burkes and in a lot of my research I find it as just Burke so I am not sure of the correct spelling. I know James and Mary lived in Georgia but I don't know when he came to America. Ancestry.com listed that in 1881 he and Mary were in London, England with his brother in law James Sweeny. I am also not sure if this is correct. Any additional help tracing James Anderson would be appreciated.
