I am desperate to find the Devanney family in Donegal.Daniel Devanney was married in 1873 in Burnley Lancashire. The church record states grooms family from 'Clenmenny,Donegal.' His father is on the marriage certificate as John, Ship's Carpenter. Daniels age is given as 21yrs although I know this could be incorrect. I did wonder if the place name should have read 'Clonmany' as that is the nearest place name I can find. I did however find an entry in the 1850 Auditing Public Accounts showing 'Clenmenny,Diocese of Derry, Banony of Ennishowen. Please can anyone help.
