This is my Great,Great Grandfather and I believe he came from Derry. All I know is that his father was William and his mother was Margaret and they came from Norther Ireland. William Crooks came to Canada and was married in Toronto in 1871. From census records here it said he came from Northern Ireland but that is all I know. Any help or info would be very much appreciated. I also think it is possible that his mothers maiden name may have been Crooks.
