Is there a way to confirm who the parents of my grandfather where as I believe he was at the St. Joseph's Indusrtrial School, Greenmount, Cork around 1911 (he was born sept 1899 in Cork)? I believe they are Jeremiah and Catherine Kelleher (born 1860s).
Love to also then figure out why he was sent there. Are there school records?

There was a Michael Kelleher born to a Jeremiah and catherine leahy in South Horsemount banteer Co Cork 12/may/1898 sponsors Michael Healy and Mary Harman . Michael is in the 1901 census with them But in 1911 census they ave 5 children born to them and five children living with them minus Michael ? There is a death for a Michael born 1899 in 1906 Macroom reg dist Are you sure Jeremiah was his father?
