I am Interested to know more about my irish ancestors who were in deptford about 1838 and before her name was elizabeth mahony and her father was john and mother catherine no maiden name she had two siblings i know of ellen and cain. I believe they may have come from cord, elizabeth was sent out to van diemans land from england and re- married there in hobart town.Elizabeth was born 1823. she married in stnicholas deptford to a william webb in 1838, witnessed by mary macarty or mary macarthy.
