Has anyone ever heard of Widdy
Island. I have just learned my Goggin relatives immigrated from
Carragh, Widdy Island, Bantry Bay
off the coast of Cork. However I can' find any information on the place.

I have an Elizabeth Goggin married to Jeremiah Riordan living in Adrigole from 1839 to 1880.Whiddy island today has an oil terminal and is near the port of Bantry at the head of the bay.Adrigole is on the north coast of the bay.
