Father, also Michael, applied to registry of freeholders 1841 address Corgregg. Had arrived in U.S. state of Wisconsin by 1854. Parents said to have sent Michael and brother to U.S. during the Famine years.
Thank you, whoever you are. I'll now attempt to find Corgregg. Apparently Michael and his brother David were sent to the United States. He ,ust have been a poliical man: he was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly around 1870.
