Clare (county)
My Grand-mother came from County Clare (Poss Kilrush )Her name was Bridget she had as far as I know 3 sisters and 2 Brothers they all came to England Surrey Any one got any info On the Mctigue family from Clare (I know of a Mike Mctigue a Boxer his Grand-daughter has been in contact with me ) not sure if there is any connection to My late Grand-mother
My father-in-law was the late Patrick McTigue from County Mayo. I have heard of a Bridgette, she may have been Pat's mum. I've also heard of Mike McTigue, the boxer. Pat married Mary Dunne from Dublin and lived in England before migrating to Australia in 1969. Pat had a number of brothers and died in 1988 aged 67.
