I am looking for inofrmation on the family of my ggrandmother Annie Hayes. I know from her marriage record she was the daughter of Richard Hayes. A Nathaniel Hayes was a witness to the marriage, I am assuming he was her brother?
Annie was married to Edward Griffith on 12 May 1885 in Church of Ireland, Cathedral Oldleighlin, Parish of Leighlin, County Carlow, Ireland. Annie & Edward lived in Johnswell, Ossory Hill, County Kilkenny. My mom & aunt tell me Annie died in February 1957.
My grandmother Elizabeth Hayes Griffith immigrated to Canada with her sisters in 1921. They had a brother Richard who remained in Ireland but he is long passed away.
That is all I know about Annie Hayes, any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
