KINNEY and GRANT
Hi I am trying to get information about my great grandparents and their ancestors.
She was Mary Ann Kinney and he was Henry Grant.
Her parents were Edward C. Kinney and wife Elizabeth and they lived at Lisdrumgullion-Newry.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Cheers Les

Kinney-Grant
Hi Leslie i have just started helping a guy named Alfie Grant,
his Grandparents were James Thomas Grant b Newry 1875 and Teresa Ellen Bennett b Liverpool 1884.
James's parents were Henry Grant & Mary Ann Kinney from Newry..
You must be connected.. can you tell me where..
Is it with Louisa James's sister.
I have only found two children for Henry & Mary Ann..
Any information would be great..
Regards Colette Benson..

My Grand Father
It seems as though you all may have some idea of the background of the Kinney name in Armagh. My Grand Fathers name was Thomas Kinney and he was born in Armagh around the turn of the century. He was Catholic, and my Father and I have been to the local Catholic Church in Armagh but wwere not able to come up with anything. I don't have many particulars, but he was one of 8 I believe. His Father worked in the kitchen in a golf club nearby. His father and all the males came to the U.S. when he was in his teens, which was not unusual. Some of the family settled in Philadelphia, and my Grandfather lived many years in Norfolk, VA. If any of you can help track my ancestary please let me know.
