Hi, I am looking for any information about my Ancestors Michael Kelly and Margaret Butler. I know that they had at least 7 children who were baptised in Moy, these were...
.Alice 15th June 1841
.Mary Nov 16th 1842
.Margaret 14th July 1845
.Thomas 29th July 1847
.Elizabeth 22nd October 1852
.James abt 1856 (never found birth record but mentioned in 1861 census, he is listed as 5yrs old but only says born in Ireland, no more specific than that).
.Michael abt 1858 (same as James, only know about Michael Jr from the 1861 Census)
They moved to Glasgow somewhere between the birth of Michael Jr which is around 1858, and 1861, where they are mentioned in a census. The only other information I have for Michael is that he died in Glasgow 1885 (aged 64). His Mother is listed as Alice Hughes and his father is Thomas Kelly.
Margaret (Butler) died in 1869, her age is given as 54 years. Her father is Felix Butler (a commission agent) and her mother is Margaret Campbell.
I'm guessing that Michael and Margaret would have married around 1840 in Moy (though I haven't been able to find any trace of their wedding so far).
Really hope someone can help.
