My great great grand parents Peter Hughes and Catherine m.s Sherry married 8 August 1848 in District Armagh in couty of Armagh one of thier witness was James Sherry ( i think this might have been Catherine brother .) I have found 2 of thier son Patrick born abt 1852 and Henry born abt 1854/56 they both moved to Glasgow in Scotland and married Mary and Jane Goodwin in 1877 in Glasgow .I also have birth cert for Peter and Catherine daughter Isobella born 1866 in the Parish of Eglish townland Corr . Patrick 1852 was my great grandfather . Even with all this info i have hit brick wall can't find out if Peter and Catherine had any more chidern or when my greatgrand parents passed away . They were Roman Catholic . Peter was tennent farmer and the land owner was Sir J Strange/stronge. Can any one help please. 23/02/2008 11:54 am
