Am looking for a James MacQuillin/en born in Dublin in 1765. Sometimes used McQuillen, or McQuillan, or McQuillin. Was an apprentice to a taylor in St Clement Danes London (Beauford Buildings in The Strand) during the late 1700s in which time he returned to Ireland for 2 and half years to find a wife. He married Elizabeth (possibly Catholic - James was Church of Ireland) Then in 1800 they settled in Colchester in England. Any help please?
